Wake Up Call for Canadian's Health

In the past few years, Canadians and their health have not always been up to par. Although we think we are doing all we can in order to be safe and live a healthy life, we aren't. Studies show that we are risking valuable years of our lives by not maintain our health. Annual check ups prove to be very useful because they can track your progress and they can determine little things that your body may not sense. A recreational Tennis player by the name of Brian Campkin was 46 when he felt tremendously winded. He usually was never that tired but it gradually got worse until he was forced to quit playing. His wife persisted he get checked on by a physician. Lucky for him, he went and had some tests done. They showed that he had three clogged arteries. One being 100% clogged, the other 99% and the final one 86%. This just goes to show the importance of maintain your health and staying on top of everything that goes on in your life.

I feel this article really demonstrates what can happen if people don't take care of their health. When it comes to your well being, it isn't possible to be too careful. The more careful you are, the better because that means anything that goes on in your body will be more accurately tracked. Annual check ups can be very intimidating but they are crucial for all humans because even when we think we're healthy, we may not be and it could end up costing you your life. In general, I believe it is important for us to take full advantage of the health care system we have in place in order to ensure a long, healthy life.
